Mayoral candidate George Smitherman announced his Integrated Transportation Plan at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The plan, which involves transit, motorists, cyclists and pedestrians, is to be funded in part by the creation of a Toronto Transit TrustÑa fund from special levies such as City Parking fees and transit-enabled development charges.
