The issues that Ms. Braniff is focusing on are:
Education:
I am passionate about improving the quality of our schools. Accountability and high standards are of highest importance.  I will work to ensure that all children have access to a quality education and to create free after school programs.
House and Small Business Taxes:
I am an advocate of free enterprise and believe that lower taxes can encourage economic growth. Raising taxes makes it hard for community to grow, weakens the economy and puts more people out of work. Our economy works best when individuals have more of their income to spend, and businesses have money to invest and add jobs. I will be a fiscal watchdog at city hall fighting higher taxes and wasteful spending.
Community:
No one should be afraid to walk our streets.  I will work with residents, community groups, business and the Police to creating a safety plan for your neighbourhood.

Why I am the best candidate for this position?
Listening to the people and keeping them informed is critical and I will ensure that communication line between councillor and neighborhoods’ is maintained.  I will work hard to make Ward 31 a showcase of what can be done.

What specifically do you plan to do for your ward, if elected?
We need to build it better so that you will want to come home it.  For our children, we need to the build schools as we are growing in Ward 31 along with replacing outdated playground equipment in our parks.  As your Councillor, I will create improvement for all the business areas to attract shoppers and work with all levels of government to make this happen.  Change needs to take place in fixing sidewalks, laneways and roads.  All of these are my priority along with providing good municipal services such as garbage, street cleaning and snow plowing.
