1. What key issues define your campaign platform?

It is my mission to make integrity synonymous with city hall.
Over time we have become too complacent with the obvious divide that separates politicians from the people they represent.
I intend to go back to the basics by providing people with real customer service, transparent fiscal responsibility and a strong focus on the growth of our neighbourhoods.
Customer service: People should not only know their city councillor’s name, they should trust they have an outlet to adequately voice their concerns to city hall.
Fiscal accountability: People deserve to understand how and why each and every tax dollar is being spent. It’s time to tighten the reins on wasteful spending and encourage accountability for city budgeting.
Growth of our neighbourhoods: Our neighbourhood’s have strong identities that must be preserved while forging new growth and opportunity.

2. Why are you the best candidate for this position?
I love Ward 14.
My grandparents were married in this community more than 70 years ago, so I have a strong connection to these neighbourhoods.
Although this is my first attempt at running in a municipal election, I was born and raised in a family dedicated to municipal-level service.
I plan on respectfully representing the people in this ward, while providing quality service, something I’ve learned from my father who has been the mayor of East Ferris for the past 30 years.
My decisions will be community-driven, not favour repayment, and they will not be dictated by a party policy.
No one will beat the level of dedication I will bring to our ward. I am action-oriented and hands on, so if you have an issue I will be there to help you resolve it.

3. What specifically do you plan to do for your ward, if elected?
I am going to make Ward 14 a better place. The foundation of Toronto is the network of neighbourhoods that are charged with personality and culture.
We have five distinct neighbourhoods within our boundaries, and we need to preserve the unique identities of each.
I want to develop plans to deal with the ongoing housing issues. I will work with the BIA and owners to develop stronger independent “main street” businesses. I want to promote the use of the limited green space.
Ultimately, I plan on being a strong, honest and energetic voice for this community.

4. Please provide details on your personal bio.
I was born in a small town outside the City of North Bay, and moved to Toronto in 2003 after completing two diplomas in information technology.
I’ve found professional success working for a merchandising company as a regional supervisor and now work as a software quality assurance analyst for ProPharm Inc.
Each day my job allows me to learn, problem-solve and meet inspiring people, and grow.
I have a large close-knit family that has a history of supporting the communities we live in. My interests include music, carpentry, charitable work and public speaking.
