What key issues define your campaign platform?
1. Safety – a more visible police presence in the evening and night.
2. Accountability – full disclosure over spending and bidding/awarding contracts.
3. Increase voter turnout – currently at 25 per cent at the municipal level, I will increase it to 75 per cent over 25 years.

Why are you the best candidate for this position?
I am the best candidate for a number of reasons.
The Top 2 are:
1. Being able to bring together the residents and businesses (as I did during the 2000 plebiscite to end dry in the Junction).
2. My investment in the community the last 15 years. Aside from the financial investment, I have worked tirelessly every day for the past 15 years to bring the Junction to where it is today.

What specifically do you plan to do for your ward, if elected?
I will have a greater presence in the area that needs it most and where public safety is a concern (namely Parkdale). I will start by establishing a constituency office in the neighborhood.
I will also bring more police presence on foot into these areas.
My long-term goal is to increase voter turnout by working with our school trustee to implement a plan I believe will yield a voter turnout of 80 per cent plus in the next 25 years.
