1. What key issues define your campaign platform?
* The Queensway Revitalization remains the greatest opportunity to provide residents with a first class retail and dinning district. The revitalization of The Queensway has the ability to add hundreds of new jobs, bring better transportation, and reduce the crime related to the operation of illegal massage parlours operating in our community.
* Stop Reckless Spending & Restore Local Services. Fight reckless spending at City Hall by addressing the mismanagement of valuable tax dollars at City Hall. By restoring accountability of city staff, we can save hundreds of millions that can be used to restore local services lost after amalgamation.
* Traffic Calming Strategy. As new families move into our community, there is a serious need to implement an effective strategy to make our streets safer for drivers, cyclists and most importantly pedestrians.
* Over Development : Work with residents to plan responsible developments that adds value to our community.

2. Why are you the best candidate for this position?

The Three Pillars:
* Experience: I bring ten years of private sector business and management experience to the role of City Councillor. Mistakes at City Hall is costing taxpayers hundreds of millions annually and is caused by the mismanagement of city staff and the failure of our councillors to hold staff accountable.
* Leadership: It is the quality of leadership that leads to the quality of government. Effective leaders bring vision, energy, and the relentless motivation required to bring real and meaningful change. Leaders understand that to build great communities we must work in cooperation not competition.
* Social Consciousness: As a community it is our job to solve our own social problems. By engaging in the talent, expertise, and business networks of our community leaders, we can resolve the problems that prohibit our growth as a community.
My record in business and our community is a direct reflection of these principles.

3. What specifically do you plan to do for your ward if elected?
My number one priority is the revitalization of The Queensway District. Great spaces define great communities. With its close proximity to major roads, attractions like High Park and Lake Ontario, The Queensway can be that thriving place in the heart of our community.
Project Queensway will also address the need for more jobs, better transportation, reduction in crime, and more opportunity.
I will also work to establish a long term traffic calming strategy to make our streets safer for families, and begin a new 2nd stage Bloor Street Avenue study to protect The Kingsway & Sunnylea Communities from over development.

4. Please provide details on your personal bio.
Born in Toronto, and have been a proud resident of the Etobicoke-Lakeshore community my entire adult life. Proud member of the Rotary Club of Etobicoke, founder of the One Village Care Community Building Initiative, and Leader with the PACT Urban Peace Program.
