What key issues define your campaign platform?
* Priority #1 is the businesses on  St. Clair Avenue, and the  streetcar right-of-way, also businesses along  Eglinton Avenue and the Eglinton LRT.
* Return to the basics of delivering those fundamental  services we all should be able to take for granted.
* “Getting Back to Basics”:   Improving Toronto government efficiency by  working with Council to authorise a comprehensive audit of every City Department including Councillors’ office budgets.
* Repeal all unnecessary property, gas,car and garbage taxes.
* Crime, Gangs and Graffiti:  establish safer neighbourhoods (the beat) and stop public relations Media policing.    efficient emergency response and safety for residents of ward 21.
* Implement a program of economic revitalisation for the entire Ward.
* Transportation, mobilization and integration:  “Let’s get Toronto moving  again!”.

Why are you the best candidate for this position?
* Currently, the majority of the people who are in office, and running for office,  are either doctors, lawyers,  business owners, professional politicians or people who have studied to be a politician.  On the contrary, I  have been a public servant  for almost all of my life, from stints in the military, to being a transit driver for Vaughan Transit / YRT and now GO Transit/Metrolinx. I understand exactly what  the public needs – someone who will listen to them and actually do something about addressing  their concerns in a timely fashion.
* The TTC does not satisfy the needs of the people. My years of experience have given me a comprehensive understanding of the basis for an efficient transit system – a truly global perspective instead of a local one. In order to have the best transit system, a real ‘Transit City’ must consider all modes of transportation, or it will not  serve the people of Toronto well.   By the time it is completed, the current plan will be hopelessly out of date, and will not be able to accommodate anticipated growth.  It will be just another boondoggle and a waste of billions of dollars of taxpayers’ money.   We need to go back to basics and really serve the people.

What specifically do you plan to do for your ward, if elected?
* Providing efficient Emergency response and safety for residents of ward 21 Crime,  establish safer neighbourhoods  ( the beat will be back ) and stop public relations Media policing.    Enabling efficient emergency response and safety for residents of ward 21.
*  Return to the basics of delivering those fundamental  services we all should be able to take for granted — garbage collection, street cleaning, pothole repairs, police, fire, ambulance – deliver more value for such services that residents pay for with their tax dollars.  Serve the people by not going on junkets at the taxpayers’ expense.
* Create Multipurpose Community Centres for all residents.

Who do you plan to support for mayor?
It is not my role if elected to support the Mayor in lock-step, as does the current Toronto City Council or Councilor.   My goal as Ward 21 representative is to support the Mayor on issues that are beneficial to the constituents of Ward 21, and the residents of Toronto as a whole.  Regardless of who is elected, I will work with that person to help make him or her the very best Mayor possible for the City of  Toronto.
