1. What key issues define your campaign platform?

Financial responsability, starting with myself.
I will be spearheading a push for councillors to reduce there constituancy office expense by 80%; thus, saving the tax payer approx. $1.76 million dollars.
The complete removal of the $60.00 vehicle registration fee.
I will be supporting a residential and business tax freeze, as well as supporting a tax break for seniors.
Job creation in the community is vital, we must bring large and small business to the area via manufacturing, retail, commercial or industrial, our residence need jobs.
Education and housing is another area that seems to be in crisis.
Petition the provincial government to keep the local hospitals open.
Maintain affordable and safe transit.
Create a safe and desirable community that the rest of toronto will envy.

2. Why are you the best candidate for this position?

I am the best candidate for the job for all the right reasons.
I live in this community.
I met my wife in this community.
We are raising our twin daughters here.
we shop here.
we work here.
even our doctors and haircuts a done here.
This is our community, this is our home.
This is our life and we want to make sure our children don’t pay for our mistakes.
I have the dedication and knowledge to put this community right, I am a forward thinker.
I have been running my own business for several years and understand financial responsibility.
The important people in all of this is the tax payer, being one I understand that we have a right to expect the most for our hard earned dollar.
Thie city has totally forgotten the seniors and care even less about education or housing.
These issues must be addressed.

3. What specifically do you plan to do for your ward, if elected?

Listen to the residents, because after all they will be my boss.
I will be work for them.
I plan on bringing businesses here to create employment.
I plan on helping our schools and pools stay open.
I will assist seniors when ever I can.
I will install the traffic light on Wilson that has been promised for many years.
I will keep this ward  safe and desirable.
I will support a complete streets program.
I will keep residence informed of local building plans from the very begining.
No suprises.

4. Please provide details on your personal bio.

My name is Chris Mac Donald I am 45 years old, I have been a resident of this ward for many years.
I met my beautiful italian wife Maria here and after 16 years we are finally raising our twin daughters here.
I run my own home improvments business and have been for approx 12 years. It has been running in the black for the last 10 years.
Both of our extended families live in the area, we work here, our doctors are here, our mechanic is here, hair dressers, shopping, this area is our life.

5. Who do you plan to support for mayor?

I will throw all of my support behind Rob Ford for Mayor.
I support anyone who will not waste our money on ludicris schemes.
After all the money does belong to the tax payer.
