What key issues define your campaign platform?
Fiscal accountability.  Lower commercial property taxes which will help stimulate growth.  Completion of the Sheppard subway to Scarborough Town Centre in order to provide rapid, reliable public transit which will not impede traffic, nor increase our current level of gridlock.

Why are you the best candidate for this position?
I have a greater determination to get things done and willingness to fight for the citizens of Toronto, even if that means going against your fellow councillors and standing alone on important issues.  As taxpayers we have been abused for too long and its time to stop criticizing from the armchair and take action.

What specifically do you plan to do for your ward, if elected?
Unless the community tells me differently: Actively pursue the issues of illegal rooming houses and grow house operations by working with our city enforcement people (Municipal Standards, Police, legal counsel) to shut down the operations and bring those accountable to court.  Provide real numbers to the constituents on results in this important issue.  Safe neighbourhoods are fundamental to our liveability.

Who do you plan to support for mayor?
I want to see an educated, experienced, principled individual sitting as mayor.  I am still open because to be fair, I’m waiting for all of the mayoral candidates to unveil their platforms to see who matches my goals with realistic implementation plans.
