The Toronto District School Board consists of 22 wards. Public school trustees are elected during the municipal elections to represent public school supporters in the City of Toronto. The trustees meet as a Board on a regular basis and have organized standing committees that also meet on a regular basis. |

The Toronto Catholic District School Board consists of 12 wards. Catholic ratepayers in Metropolitan Toronto elect 12 English Language trustees to the Toronto Catholic District School board during each municipal election. |
